Safez of Roarborne (appeared 11 December 2025) is a Lionarchic politician currently serving as the leader of the Lionarchic Roarist Party. He assumed leadership of the Lionarchic Roarist Party on 11 December 2025, succeeding his brother and party founder, Scor of Roarborne. Safez is a member of the Solarite ethnic minority and is a member of the Roarborne family.

Safez's early leadership was characterized by the appointment of his siblings into key portfolios. He put Sabah in charge of foreign affairs, appointed Sifad as head of internal affairs and kept Scor in command of the Lionarchic Roarist Armed Forces (LRAF). This centralization around the Roarborne Family led to internal friction, most notably a power struggle with Salah, who aimed to reform the political party to the original Roarist ideology over the family-centric governance favored by Safez and the Roarborne family.

Early life

Family and background

Safez of Roarborne appeared on 11 December 2025 in Eindhoven. He is a member of the House of Roarborne, an affluent Solarite family with significant influence in the government. His father is Sulay of Roarborne, who had four children. Safez was the fourth son. His three older brothers include Scor, Sifad and Sabah. Safez has three sons, Sarsel, Sabbar and Saher.

Education

Safez pursued a higher education at the university of Solarha where he studied politics. At the university he met several future politicians including Shadid of Sorbonne, Faisal of Hashemane, and Abdul.

Historically the Sorbonne and Roarborne families were closely aligned, which prompted Safez and Shadid to seek friendly relations with each other. Safez, Shadid and several others formed a secret movement that aimed to undermine the Imperialist government. However, when the void opened the secret movement fell apart until they re-emerged from the void and joined the Lionarchic Roarist Party, which sought to overthrow the Royalist government.

Military career

Safez entered officer's training for a short while around December 2025. He climbed the ranks to colonel general swiftly in the Royalist Lion Forces (RLF). During his service in the RLF, Safez befriended several other lions who joined the Lionarchic Roarist Party. He later left the RLF joining the Lionarchic Roarist Armed Forces (LRAF) instead. In the RLAF he served under Scor's command. Safez later became inactive since he mainly focused on politics.

Personality

Safez's demeanour is reportedly very calm. He is also viewed as highly intelligent. Safez "thinks strategically to gain influence in politics" according to several associates.

Safez confirmed he favours his eldest son, Sabbel. Safez aims to establish a de facto hereditary presidency with Sabbel next in line.

Lionarchic Roarist Party rule (2025-present)

The Lionarchic Roarist Party was established on 2 December 2025 by Scor, only nine days before Safez reappeared. On 11 December 2025, Safez reappeared and took control of the party. Safez was widely regarded as being more charming than Scor. The party immediately saw a drastic increase in popularity after Safez started leading the party. Shortly after Safez took over party leadership, prominent lions including Kareem, Abdul and Faisal also joined the Lionarchic Roarist Party.

Elections

During the election on 2 January 2026, the Lionarchic Roarist Party obtained 39 out of 250 seats under Safez's leadership.

Political ideology and beliefs

Safez adheres to Roarism, which aims to establish a Solarite-dominated republic with an exclusive democratic elections. Though Roarism opposes any royal family to be in power, Roarists and primarily Roarbornes aim to establish a hereditary presidency, which is widely classified as a de facto monarchy.
