Safez of Roarborne (appeared 11 December 2025) is a Lionarchic politician and the current Chairman of the Central Command of the Lionarchic Roarist Party (LRP). He previously led the LRP as party leader until he abolished the title when he reorganized the party hierarchy and named himself Chairman. Alongside his own appointment, he integrated several members of his house, the House of Roarborne, into the Central Command.

Safez's early leadership was characterized by the appointment of his siblings into key portfolios. He put Sabah in charge of foreign affairs, appointed Sifad as head of internal affairs and kept Scor in command of the Lionarchic Roarist Armed Forces (LRAF). This centralization around the Roarborne Family led to internal friction, most notably leading to a power struggle between Safez, Mohroar and Salah, as Savonne aimed to establish a authoritarian government led by himself, whilst Salah aimed to reform the political party to a more left wing variant over the family-centric governance favored by Safez and the Roarborne family.
Safez's early party leadership was characterized by the appointment of several of his family members into key portfolios in the LRP. In February 2026, he reorganized the party and established the Central Command, naming himself Chairman while he filled the rest of the Central Command with family and close allies. At this time, Safez also started improving relations with several other politicians, mainly those of left-wing parties, aiming to grow the LRP's popularity significantly. As most of the left-wing parties now followed the LRP's lead, the party became publicly known as "the main left-wing party" of the Lionarchy, which caused it to grow significantly in polls. In the meantime, Safez also improved relations with Shadid of Sorbonne, the leader of the LSNP and a member of the government. Safez planned to withdraw LSNP-support from the government, which would prompt early elections. He planned to make the move when the National Lionparty's popularity was at its lowest while the LRP and LSNP were consistently growing in numerous polls.

Safez got married to Regina Maluf in February 2026. They have five children, including their oldest child and only daughter, Reina, their oldest son, Sarsel, their second son, Sabbar, their third son, Saher and their fourth and youngest son, Sahid.
Safez pursued a higher education at the university of Solarha where he studied politics. At the university he met several future politicians including Shadid of Sorbonne, Faisal of Hashemane, and Abdul of Hashemane.

Historically the Sorbonne and Roarborne families were closely aligned, which prompted Safez and Shadid to seek friendly relations with each other. Safez, Shadid and several others formed a secret movement that aimed to undermine the Imperialist government. However, when the void opened the secret movement fell apart until they re-emerged from the void and joined the Lionarchic Roarist Party, which sought to overthrow the Royalist government.

After graduating from university, Safez entered officer's training around December 2025. He climbed the ranks to colonel general swiftly in the Royalist Lion Forces (RLF). During his service in the RLF, Safez befriended several other lions who joined the Lionarchic Roarist Party. He later left the RLF joining the Lionarchic Roarist Armed Forces (LRAF) instead. In the RLAF he served under Scor's command. Safez later became inactive since he mainly focused on politics.

The Lionarchic Roarist Party was established on 2 December 2025 by Scor of Roarborne, only nine days before Safez reappeared. The party aimed to overthrow the royalist government and end the other insurgencies. Scor held leadership of the party though having confirmed he hoped Safez would reappear to take over party leadership. On 11 December 2025, Safez reappeared and took control of the party.

Safez immediately started assigning several Roarbornes in key positions in the political party to establish significant influence centered around the Roarborne family. Additionally, his leadership saw a significant growth in popularity. Before Safez grew to power, studies indicated only around 7% of lions supported the Lionarchic Roarist party. Later, during the elections on 2 January 2026, the Lionarchic Roarist Party obtained 39 out of 250 seats under Safez's leadership, which is around 16%.
In February 2026, Safez improved relations with several left-wing parties and forced them to follow the LRP's political ideas. In some cases, he pressured the other leaders to merge with the LRP. This turned the LRP into "the main left-wing party" which made the party significantly more popular. In order to secure permanent Roarborne leadership in the LRP, Safez reshaped the bureaucracy of the party by establishing the Central Command of the Lionarchic Roarist Party. The Central Command was a nine-member council, led by a chairman. Safez appointed himself as Chairman and designated several loyalists and members of his family to the Central Command.

Early life

Family and background

Safez of Roarborne appeared on 11 December 2025 in Eindhoven. He is a member of the House of Roarborne, an affluent Solarite family which historically had significant influence in the government. His father is Sulay of Roarborne, who had four children of which Safez was the fourth. His three older brothers include Scor, Sifad and Sabah.

Safez got married to Regina Maluf in February 2026. They have five children, including their oldest child and only daughter, Reina, their oldest son, Sarsel, their second son, Sabbar, their third son, Saher and their fourth and youngest son, Sahid.

Lionarchic Roarist Party rule (2025-present)

On 1 December 2025, the Lionarchy adopted a constitutional monarchy with democratic elections. Following this, Scor of Roarborne, the leader of the Lionarchic Roarist Armed Forces (LRAF), signed a peace treaty with the government, which allowed Scor and the LRAF to maintain military influence in regions with Solarite dominated populations. Additionally, Scor was allowed to establish a political party. On 2 December 2025, Scor established the Lionarchic Roarist Party (LRP) and became its leader until Safez reappeared from the void on 11 December. Later that day, Safez became the new leader of the LRP, whilst he allowed Scor to remain in charge of the LRAF.

Once Safez had taken over party leadership, he immediately started assigning several Roarbornes into key positions, as he sought to make the House of Roarborne rule the LRP indefinitely. When Safez took power the LRP also saw a significant growth in popularity. During the elections on 2 January 2026, the Lionarchic Roarist Party obtained 15% of the votes, acquiring 39/250 seats in the National Congress.

Political ideology and beliefs

Safez's ideological evolution is defined by his transition from a traditional Roarist to the founder of Roarbornism. While he originally advocated for the total dissolution of the monarchy in favour of democratic elections, his philosophy shifted significantly towards a mixture of Solarite nationalism, secterianism, militarism and a cult of personality around the Roarbornes.

Roarbornism is frequently contrasted with Saharism, the variant of Roarism dominated by the House of Sorbonne. While Saharism is characterized by non-dynastic, atheist and communist principles, Roarbornism rejects these beliefs, focusing on the appointment of Roarbornes in key positions of government, assigning Roarbornes in charge of state institutions and establishing an exclusive democracy, with solely Solarites receiving the right to vote.

Personality

Safez's demeanour is reportedly very calm and is widely regarded as highly intelligent, with some rumours of him having an IQ of 130 having spread widely, though he has not confirmed this. According to several close associates, Safez uses strategic thinking to gain significant influence in politics. Safez has spread little information on himself, though having verified the allegations that he primarily spends time with his oldest son Sarsel, hoping he will follow in his footsteps. In several public speeches, Safez said he sees himself as the Julius Caesar of the lions.
