Tijgertje is the Queen of the Tigerium since her birth. Having reigned for 2007 years, she is the longest reigning monarch in Tigerian history.
Tijgertje was born in Utrecht nearing the end of the Panther Wars as the younger sister of Tigrish and twin sister of Tiggy. Tigrish and Tiggy were absorbed into the void. As a result, Tijgertje became the Queen of the Tigerium. In late 2020, Tigrish and Tiggy reappeared and retracted their claim to the throne, after which Tigrish became heir presumptive. In March 2026, the Tigerian aristocrat Tigros appeared from the void. Tijgertje and Tigros befriended each other and began a relationship in April. They have three children: Tristan, Tigrea and Terrence.
During Tijgertje's reign as queen of the Tigerium and its dominions, the Tigerium saw growth in landmass and population through annexations of other groups of plushies. Throughout the years, several of these groups declared independence or demanded increased autonomy. Though this led to a loss of influence, the Tigerium is still generally considered a hegemonic state, for which Tijgertje is often credited.
Significant events of Tijgertje's reign included the transition from an absolute monarchy to a semi-constitutional monarchy on 26 March 2026, the Great Fire of 29 March 2026 and the formalization of the Crownday and Queensday. Though the royal family occasionally faced criticism, Tijgertje's reign has seen support for the monarchy remain consistently high. Similarly, Tijgertje's own approval rate sits around 95% to 100%.
== Early and personal life ==
Tijgertje was born in Utrecht on 4 June 2007 nearing the end of the Panther Wars. She was born as the twin sister of Tiggy and younger sister of Tigrish. Tigrish attempted to end the Panther Wars by opening the Void, which led to him and Tiggy being absorbed. Because of their absence, Tijgertje ascended to the Tigerian throne as the Queen of the Tigerium.
Between 2007 and 2010, Tijgertje's health gradually deteriorated. This is generally credited to frequent childhood use by p1gsel. Tijgertje also endured several incidents. In one instance, p1gsel lost her in the Dutch supermarket "Albert Heijn". She also fell into a toilet and nearly burned in a restaurant. Tijgertje also visited several places in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy during her early years. The most notable examples are the elementary schools Titus Brandsma in Blerick and ’t Karregat in Tongelre.
In late October 2020, Tiggy reappeared from the void, followed by Tigrish in early December 2020. They approved of Tijgertje continuing her reign as Queen. In response, Tijgertje agreed the two could advise her on regnal matters and named Tigrish heir presumptive.

In March 2026, the Tigerian aristocrat Tigros reappeared from the void. Upon appearance, he quickly befriended Tigrish. He initially primarily focused on managing businesses with Tigrish, including mainly Royal Wine Corporation and Royal Estate. He also took an interest in Tijgertje, which led to him befriending her. During the Great Fire of 29 March 2026, Tigrish, Tijgertje and Tigros rushed to safety together. This event allegedly made Tijgertje and Tigros much closer, which raised speculations about a possible relationship. On 5 April 2026, the two announced they began a relationship. Tijgertje also formalized the Crownday as a national holiday to celebrate the start of their relationship.
Tigros suffered from widespread criticism and was generally described as too assertive and manipulative. Tijgertje attempted to lessen the controversies by designating him as a formal member of the royal family. After Tigros and Tijgertje had their first child, Tristan, a new wave of controversies followed. Tijgertje publicly addressed the nation afterwards. She stated Tigros was not manipulative at all and demanded the controversies to cease. The speech was generally received positively and Tigros's reputation gradually improved. On 10 April, their second child and only daughter, Tigrea, was born. On 15 April, their third and youngest child, Terrence, was born.

During the first years of her reign, Tijgertje remained moderately inactive. Most executive work was handled by the Junior Purr, the King of Juniorwood, whom she befriended early on. Tijgertje's health deteriorated rapidly through 2007 to 2010. After 2010, her health seemed to stabilize and she became popular. She reportedly looked up to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, whom she saw on television. Basing herself on Beatrix, she grew further in popularity.
Tijgertje assimilated other countries into her fold. On 27 May 2014, she met Beertje Bacon, a Bearish politician who assumed the role of Monocrat of the Beardom. Tijgertje and Bacon agreed to subordinate the Beardom to the Tigerium. She also started assimilating mainly bunnies into the Tigerium. In 2016, a war erupted between Tigerium and the newly appeared Tijgeron, who had led some Pantherian armies during the Panther Wars. He actively terrorized the Tigerium, which led to Tijgertje and Junior Purr formally declaring war on Tijgeron somewhere in 2016 to 2017.
Tigrish and Tiggy, Tijgertje's brothers, reappeared from the void in late 2020. Tigrish revoked his claim to the throne and was granted the designation as heir presumptive until Tijgertje would have a child. Tijgertje became more influential through 2020 to 2025.
| |||
Tijgertje started her reign as queen at 4 June 2007. Her first few years as queen were regarded as relatively calm, with only few tigers having survived the void-event. Tijgertje integrated several species into her kingdom, seeking to establish one large hegemonic state, consisting primarily out of tigers, bunnies and bears. Tijgertje also befriended Junior Purr and other important figures during her reign. However, her continued integrations to establish a hegemonic state came to a halt when Tijgeron, the son of Pantheron, the Imperator of Pantheria during the Panther Wars, started rallying several species into his Dark Hordes. He rallied primarily Mice, Rats and Primates to his hordes and often raided Tijgertje's country. Tijgertje and her close allies including Junior Purr formally declared war on Tijgeron, hoping to remove him as a threat and continue peacefully.
Around mid 2025, several tigers returned from the void and pledged loyalty to Tijgertje. One of these tigers, Tiberius, established the Fangtooth Clan and pledged it to Tijgertje as the official Tigerian army. The Fangtooth Clan succeeded around 28 July 2025 to arrest numerous members of Tijgeron's Dark Hordes. They also apprehended and brought Scor of Roarborne, Scer of Roarborne and Scar of Roarborne to trial, whom they deemed a threat to the stability of the Lionarchy. Scar of Roarborne later escaped the trial and gathered some forces with Tijgeron to release the prisoners. Tijgertje stated is was a huge loss for the Tigerium and said she hoped Tijgeron would be recaptured soon after.

4 June 2007
Utrecht, Netherlands
Tijgertje is the Queen of the Tigerium since her birth. Having reigned for 18 years, she is the longest reigning monarch in Tigerian history.
Early and personal life
Tijgertje was born in Utrecht on 4 June 2007 nearing the end of the Panther Wars.
Relationship and family

Trips and adventure

Throughout her life, Tijgertje went on numerous trips. She visited several countries outside of the Netherlands, including the United Kingdom, Belgium and Italy. In the Netherlands, she went on numerous vacations and camping trips.
In 2014, Tijgertje visited England and Wales in the United Kingdom. During this trip, she met Beertje Bacon and helped him get to the Netherlands. In 2016, Tijgertje visited Levanto in Italy. Later that year, she visited Belgium as well. Though she stated she didn't enjoy the trip much, she visited Belgium again in 2023, specifically the Ardennes. Contrary to her first trip, she expressed she loved the trip in 2023. She went to the Ardennes again in 2025 and stated she adored this trip as well.
Spirit Gardens
In Eindhoven, Netherlands, Tijgertje and Tigros decided to take occasional trips outside. The first prominent trip was on 19 April 2026. Tijgertje and Tigros went to the Spirit Gardens in the Muschy Hills. They took friends and family with them and took pictures. Tijgertje described it as an "absolute pleasure to go on trips with my close ones". From then on, she made it a habit to go on occasional trips outside.
Vaarle Valley
On 6 May 2026, her younger brother Tiggy went to Vaarle Valley with some family members. On 22 May, Tijgertje went there with Tigros, Tristan, Beatrish, Tigrea and Terrence. While they didn't take any pictures, they described it as a "short but fun trip". They added they would likely go there more often. The next day on 23 May 2026, Tijgertje named it "Vaarle Valley" and claimed it as royal property.
Reign
Accession and early reign

After Tigrish and Tiggy were absorbed into the void, Tijgertje became the Queen of the Tigerium. She chose to retain Tijgertje as her regnal name. She moved into Blerick Palace, though she later moved into palaces in Eindhoven.
Soon after the start of her reign, Tijgertje befriended Junior Purr, the King of Juniorwood. Their well-documented friendship was generally seen as very close. It is generally accepted that Tijgertje relied on Junior during her early reign for advice.
Tijgertje increased the Tigerium's influence by annexing smaller groups of plushies. This led to the country having a diverse population, consisting of mainly tigers, bears, rabbits, bunnies and other smaller groups.
During the first years of her reign, Tijgertje remained moderately inactive. Most executive work was handled by the Junior Purr, the King of Juniorwood, whom she befriended early on.
Tigrish and Tiggy, Tijgertje's brothers, reappeared from the void in late 2020. Tigrish revoked his claim to the throne and was granted the designation as heir presumptive until Tijgertje would have a child. Tijgertje became more influential through 2020 to 2025.

Political reforms
In the years 2025 and 2026 several dominions became independent. Four countries saw partial or even entire autonomy given to them.
Bearish independence
The Beardom was a Tigerian subject led by Beertje Bacon, who ruled as an absolute Monocrat. However, unrest emerged when bears started demanding independence. Beertje Bacon requested the Tigerium to contain the protesters, which Tijgertje agreed to, sending the Fangtooth Clan. Following the protests, Tijgertje gave the Beardom full autonomy and Beertje Bacon continued his rule as Monocrat, which prompted a new wave of protests to emerge, often called the October protests. These protests quickly radicalized, with most advocating for Beertje Maple's ascent to power and the removal, exile or in rare cases even execution of Beertje Bacon. Another group of radicals emerged who aimed to kill Beertje Maple. Both Bacon and Maple later met and declared "peace should return" and Beertje Bacon democratized the country, resigning from his position as Monocrat. He started a political party while Additionally, Beertje Maple was crowned queen, though her tenure only lasted from 18 to 30 October, after which Berend and Beerinnetje of the Habsclaw family returned and became the new royal family. Tijgertje kept close relations with both noble houses and Beertje Bacon, who started ruling as prime minister since his resignation.
Lionarchic independence
In mid-2025, the Lionarchy, a vassal of the Tigerium, saw the rise of a civil war. It escelated during late-November to early-December that same year, when mass-protests emerged that demanded independence and the removal of the monarchy. Tijgertje agreed the Lionarchy deserved to become an independent nation but rejected the notion of removing the monarchy. Tijgertje also gave permission to Tigrish to send the Fangtooth Clan into the Lionarchy to maintain stability.
Hopstatian independence
Bunning, the regional governor for the bunnies and rabbits, declared the independence for the Hopstate in November 2025. To prevent another loss of a dominion, Tigrish declared war on the newly established Hopstate on behalf of the Tigerium and later captured Bunning. The newly established Beardom fought against the Tigerium during the conflict, seeking to solidify the independence of the Hopstate. The Neckdom, a vassal of the Tigerium, later also sent its army to combat the Tigerian forces. Tijgertje later ordered Tigrish to sign a ceasefire, release Bunning from custody and to recognize the Hopstate as an independent state. Bunning declared himself the non-partisan President of the Hopstate and aimed to establish a democratic system in a few months.
In late-December 2025, Konijntje of Harrow and Bunny of Harrow attempted to seize power in the Hopstate, seeking to establish the Lapinium, an absolute monarchy. President Bunning and the Harrows started a large-scale power struggle which Tijgertje feared would lead to another conflict. She intervened by going on a state visit and meeting with the two sides. When the state visit concluded, Tijgertje publicly stated their diplomatic talks had concluded. Konijntje of Harrow was declared Crown President of the Hopstate, though he would only rule the transitional government until democratic elections can take place. Bunning had to retire from his presidency and was compensated economically by Tijgertje.
Gratish independence
Kelgrish of Ashai, the partner of Tigrish, requested increased autonomy for the Grats, stating that they are known to be shy and would be more comfortable to be ruled by a Grat than a tiger. Tijgertje agreed and formally established the Great Grat in early 2026. In return, Tijgertje demanded the two nations would maintain their close relations, which Kelgrish agreed on. Though the Great Grat is a sovereign nation, Tijgertje ensured the Tigerium and the Great Grat remain close, integrating Grats into the Fangtooth Clan and signing several economic agreements between the two nations.
Reappearance of Juniorientje Purr

On 21 February 2026, Tijgertje was on a state visit to Juniorwood and met with Junior Purr. They were visited by Safez of Roarborne, a Lionarchic politician and high-ranking member of the Lionarchic Roarist Party. He had recovered Spottelina Purr from the void and handed her over to Spot Purr, Junior's deputy and personal bodyguard. Spot and Spottelina immediately started a relationship. Around thirty minutes later, Safez also revealed to have recovered Juniorientje Purr, who immediately became the girlfriend of Junior. Tijgertje was present at the reappearance of both Purrs and applauded Safez for his friendly gesture. Both Junior and Tijgertje responded with establishing friendly relations with Safez, despite his anti-monarchist stance towards Leeuwtje of Orleons, a close friend of Tijgertje. When Tijgertje went on a state visit to the Lionarchy later, Leeuwtje allegedly stated he was not fond of Safez and his political party but also praised his friendly gesture.
Reputation and personality
During her entire reign as queen, Tijgertje kept a stable and high approval rating. Generally, her high rating is attributed to her widely considered nice personality and stable reign. Tijgertje is known to be devoutly loyal to her family and the Tigerium. She also established numerous close friendships with other prominent figures, including Junior Purr, Beertje Bacon, Leeuwtje of Orleons, Konijntje of Harrow and Varkentje of Hambon.
The Tigerium is one of the few countries in which a majority of its people do not want to adopt a democratic system, which is widely credited to her generally accepted positive influence in the Tigerium. Tijgertje stated she does not encourage nor oppose the adoption of a democratic system in the Tigerium, saying it is a unnecessary development in her eyes unless the citizens request it. She also has publicly spoken out against anti-monarchism several times, stating she will not step down as queen.
Though the Tigerium responded with military action in conflicts on several occasions, Tijgertje publicly spoke out against regime change and war. She often added that she does not condone but also will not cease the armed missions started by the Tigerium, for which Tigrish, her older brother, is often mainly responsible.
Relationships
Tijgertje had a private relationship with Winnie in her early years as queen, though later they ended the relationship. Around March 2026, she was often seen close with Tigros, which saw the rise of multiple rumours surrounding an alleged relationship between the two. They later confirmed they started dating on 5 April 2026.
