The Lionarchy or Lionarchic Kingdom, is a state in Sabana located in the west of the continent. It is a constitutional monarchy under Leeuwtje of Orleons with a democratically elected coalition-government. The legislative branch of the government is the National Congress, which is composed of members of political parties. The prime minister leads the government. The Lionarchy's capital is Palleon and the Lionarchy is solely inhabited by lions. The national currency is the Tigerium Crown.
Etymology
Several sources indicate that the name Lionarchy is derived from an ancient council of aristocratic lions, which was founded and dissolved thousands of years before the Lionarchy was officially established. The first known confirmed record of the Lionarchy was the Lionarchic Empire, where its emperor, Leonidas I, most likely combined the words lion and aristocracy into the name of the country, being Lionarchy.

Ancient antiquity
There is little information on the Lionarchy during the Ancient Age. In the region of the current day Lionarchy, a predecessor-state inhabited the region, which was known as the Lionarchic Empire.
Panther Age
See also: Leonidas I's reign
During the Panther Age, the Lionarchic Empire under Leonidas I was still the dominant group in the lion-region. Leonidas I was reportedly suspicious of the Tigerium, led by Tigrish. However, when a large-scale conflict erupted between the Tigerium and Pantheria, Leonidas I sided with the Tigerium against the panthers. The panthers, led by Pantheron, had used several tactics against the Lionarchy which it was not prepared for. According to some sources, the Lionarchy supposedly surrendered afterwards. Soon after its alleged surrender, Tigrish and a council of tigers decided to open the void, which dismantled the Lionarchic Empire.
Current Age
Though most plushies were absorbed, Leeuwtje of Orleons survived the event. He established the Lionarchic Kingdom and aligned the Lionarchy closely with the Tigerium, which survived the void-event through Tijgertje, the only surviving tiger. Leeuwtje of Orleons proclaimed himself as Monarch of the Lionarchy. After having built up diplomatic relations with the larger Tigerium, Leeuwtje allowed the Lionarchy to become a vassal-state of the Tigerium.
Lionarchic civil war
Main article: Lionarchic civil war
During July 2025 and onwards, several lions escaped the void. The former emperor Leonidas I was one of the escapees, and proclaimed himself as emperor, a move contested by Leeuwtje. The disagreement gave rise to public unrest in the Lionarchy. Leeuwtje declared the statement false and forces loyal to Leeuwtje initiated armed operations against Leonidas I and his followers, commonly known as the Imperialists. The armed operations prompted the Imperialists to form an armed front in the northeast of the country against the monarchy, known as the Imperial Lionarchic Army (ILA), which aims to restore the former empire under Leonidas I. The forces under Leeuwtje, officially named the Royalist Lion Force (RLF), were outnumbered by the Imperialists. The Tigerium sent its official state army, the Fangtooth Clan, to intervene in the Lionarchy's internal conflict. The Fangtooths secured state-held areas whilst the RLF started an offensive against the Imperialists. A separate armed movement arose in the east and south of the country, known as the Nemerakian Theocratic State (NTS). Led by Nemerak, the group aimed to establish a theocratic state and strongly opposes foreign intervention. NTS has been characterized by international observers and news outlets as an extremist group due to its frequent use of terrorist tactics and assassination attempts against both Royalists and Imperialists.
During November and December of 2025, the Beardom threatened to remove its support for the royalists if they would not adopt a democracy, limiting the king's power. Though the Tigerium protested, the Lionarchy became fully independent and took on a democratic system with elections. Soon after, several political parties were established, including the Lionarchic Roarist Party or simpler known as Roarist Party, which was founded by Scor of Roarborne. Roarists wanted to end the civil war by exiling both Leeuwtje and Leonidas I. Scor's rank of Grand Marshal of the Lionarchy allowed him to establish a private military force, known officially as the Roarist Lion Armed Forces (RLAF).
Belligerents
During 2025, the Lionarchic civil war turned into a four front war which evolved into a proxy war as the belligerent sides were backed by other external countries. These groups can be divided into four distinct sides:
- First, the Lionarchic Kingdom led by Leeuwtje of Orleons and backed by royalists and his allies, including:
- Tigerium and its vassals supported Leeuwtje directly through means of sending troops into the country to reinforce Leeuwtje's influence. The Tigerium also aided Leeuwtje through economic means.
- Juniorwood and its vassals, Beardom, Pigtopia and the Hopstate aided Leeuwtje's side economically.
- Secondly, the Imperialists or Imperial Lionarchic Army (ILA), led by Leonidas I.
- Rayak (until early 2026), the Royal Primate and the People's Republic of Honingen supported the Imperialist front economically, though providing no direct military support.
- Thirdly, the Nemerakian Theocratic State (NTS), aiming to establish a theocratic state, was internationally condemned and designated as an extremist group by most countries. It lacks formal state support, though Tijgeron and his Hordes did publicly speak out favorably of NTS.
- Fourth, Roarist Lion Armed Forces (RLAF), led by Scor of Roarborne, supported the Roarist Party and held territory in the south of the country. It had officially signed a ceasefire with the royalist forces, but occasionally clashes took place.
- The Sibearian Federation, Rayak (since early 2026) and the Gray Triumvirate supported the Roarist forces militarily and economically.
Geography
The Lionarchy's climate varies from the humid coast, through a savanna zone, to arid desert in the east. There are several important rivers in the Lionarchy, though they have not yet been named. There are several large-scale oil fields in the Lionarchy, primarily in the eastern drier areas.
The Lionarchy is relatively sparesely populated compared to its urban areas, which see a higher population density. Large cities include Manascus, Pallion, Solarha, Maneppo, Lioms and Rama.
Manascus
Manascus is the former capital and largest city of the Lionarchy, located in the southwest. Several scholars and officials state Manascus is the oldest Lionarchic city, though the statement has been disputed as the city Pallion is also widely regarded as the oldest city. Both statements remain unverified.
Manascus was established during the imperial imperiod under the rule of Leonidas I. He established the city as the capital and all administrative work was handled from there. After the void opened nearing the end of the Panther Wars, the city became empty and deteroirated. When Leeuwtje of Orleons proclaimed himself as king, he made Pallion the capital. Though Pallion became the official capital, it remained largely symbolic as most administrative offices remained in Manascus.
Manascus has been characterized as inhabited by all different Lionarchic groups and not dominated by one large group. It holds no major landmarks. Manascus is based on the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Pallion
Pallion is a city located in the centre of the Lionarchy. It is similarly to Manascus one of the older cities. Prior to the Panther Wars, Pallion was a small city which was primarily inhabited by Asmanes. When the void was opened, the capital city at the time, Manascus, became abandoned. This prompted Leeuwtje, an Asmane himself, to establish Pallion as the new capital city. It saw the construction of a royal palace for Leeuwtje's family. Though Pallion was the ceremonial capital, Manascus remained the administrative centre of the Lionarchy. Pallion is based on an ancient Syrian city named Palmyra
Solarha
Solarha is a city in the west of the Lionarchy. It is predominantly inhabited by Solarites. The city is based on the Syrian city al-Qardaha.
Maneppo
Maneppo is a city in the northwest of the Lionarchy. It is inhabited by several different groups, though Regalites hold a significant presence in the city. The city is based on Aleppo, Syria's second most populated city.
Lioms
Lioms is a city located in the west of the Lionarchy. The city is a major industrial hub. It is the third largest populated city in the Lionarchy. Lions is based on Homs, a Syrian city.
Rama
Rama is a city in the west of the Lionarchy. The city is known for its distinct culture. It is among the fourth largest Lionarchic cities, alongside Manascus, Maneppo and Lioms. The city is based on Hama, Syria's fourth most populated city.
Economy
The Lionarchic economy is a developing economy though due to the current civil war it hasn't advanced much in recent years. The economy's growth is primarily based exports. The national currency used is the Tigerium Crown.
Production
The Lionarchy is mainly focused around producing agricultural products, including livestock and spices. Livestock is widely used throughout the Lionarchy for consumption, with the growing population creating a growing demand for food. Spices are also widely produced and used for consumption as well as exports.
The Lionarchy also heavily invested in weaponry as its army was deemed "too weak" by some officials. The main industrial hub of Lioms has seen significant growth in terms of weaponry. Several sources indicate the weapon manufacturing also holds ties to the Gray Triumvirate, an internationally recognized criminal syndicate.
Exports
The Lionarchy mainly exports legal spices, since there is little demand for spices in the Lionarchy itself. Illegal spices are also produced in the Lionarchy and often traded to the Gray Triumvirate for larger profits. However, the state has started a crackdown on these illegal farms, which decreased the export of illegal spices drastically.
Imports
The Lionarchy normally imports meat. Though the Lionarchy has a large-scale livestock production, Lionarchic citizens often are on a meat-only diet, generally consuming 5-10kg of meat every day. The Lionarchic production cannot keep up with this demand and needs to import from other countries to keep the citizens well fed.
Government and politics

See also: Elections in the Lionarchy
The Lionarchy is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy since 2025. Following the reforms of late 2025, the system transitioned into its current state where elections are held every three months unless a vote of no confidence passes earlier. Usually the largest political party provides the prime minister, which is the head of government.
Lionarchic politics and governance are characterized by attempting to tackle economic issues, though large political issues including corruption and the civil war were often ignored.
The monarch is the head of state, which is currently Leeuwtje of Orleons. Officially the monarch holds few executive powers, though in practice the monarch can still exert significant influence.
Military
The Lionarchic military consists of the Royalist Lion Force (RLF), which is an organization directly led by Leeuwtje. Though it is regarded as the official national army, the Tigerium's Fangtooths are present in the country and enforce stability in the royalist-held areas. Anti-royalists and critics generally consider the RLF a "small group of royal guards" rather than a national army.
Demographics
The only group of animals living within the Lionarchy are lions. The lions however are subdivided into five separate groups, Asmanes, Solarites, Liowites, Regalites and Brandals.
Asmanes
Main article: Asmanes
The Asmanes are the largest ethnic subdivision of lions. They are characterized by often having beige skin and brown manes. The House of Orleons consists predominantly of Asmanes.
History
The Asmanes were originally a small group within the Lionarchy. They were often supressed by the larger group of Regalites. Once a large scale void event appeared, mainly Regalites were absorbed into the void. Leeuwtje was one of few lions to survive the void-event and proclaimed himself king of the lions as a vassal to the Tigerium. With Leeuwtje being an Asmane, most high ranking positions went to Asmanes which subsequently caused the other ethnic groups to be supressed, establishing the Asmanes as the largest group within the Lionarchy.
Solarites
Liowites
Main article: Liowites
Liowites are an ethnic minority within the Lionarchy. They are characterized having orange hair. Liowites often support the Roarists. Well known Liowites include Scor, Scar and Salah.
History
Liowites were mainly dominant throughout history before the void-event, when they ruled as second class citizens behind the Regalites and ahead of the Asmanes and Brandals. The noble family representing the Liowites, House of Roarborne, served Leonidas I loyally in high ranking positions. Once the void-event appeared, all Liowites were wiped out. Once the void started opening several Liowites returned, including the members of the Roarborne family. Scor of Roarborne established the Roarist Party which ethnically favoured Liowites. Consequently, primarily Liowites supported the Roarist Party.
Regalites
Main article: Regalites
Regalites are an ethnic minority within the Lionarchy who were the dominant group before the large Void-Event. Regalites are characterized often having yellow skin and yellow manes. Well known Liowites include Leonidas I and Usamah.
Brandals
Main article: Brandals
Brandals are an ethnic minority within the Lionarchy who are characterized often having brown skin and black manes. Most Brandals serve the Brandal-god Nemerak.
