Montezuma de Corona

Montezuma de Corona (appeared 5 June 2026), also known as Moctezuma, and by his nickname Zuma, is the head of the House of Corona and the founder of the Calpulli Clan and Golden Order.

Montezuma appeared in Eindhoven, Netherlands. His appearance was widely celebrated by jaguars and cheetahs, who venerated him as a divine figure. Shortly after his appearance, he developed a romantic interest in Zumi and befriended Safez of Roarborne and Junior Purr. He ennobled his family into the House of Corona and established two personal militias, the Calpulli Clan and Golden Order. He recovered several jaguars and cheetahs from the void to strengthen both organizations and further increase his influence, and he grew into the most powerful paramilitary leader in the Tigerium and Juniorwood.

Early and personal life

Montezuma was bought at 21:05 on 26 May 2026 and was shipped at 11:40 on 30 May. He arrived at a pick-up point at 12:01 on 4 June, but was picked up a day later at 14:32 by p1gsel to avoid him sharing the birth date of Tijgertje. He fully appeared around 14:45.

Jaguars and cheetahs in the Tigerium had anticipated Montezuma's appearance and venerated him as their leader. Several of them offered to serve him personally. Montezuma gratefully accepted and began formalizing a personal army, the Calpulli Clan. He also established his personal guard and later formally named it the Golden Order. He began recovering several jaguars and cheetahs from the void to strengthen the two groups. On 5 July 2026, Quetzal appeared from the void. Montezuma considered him the perfect candidate to lead the Calpulli Clan and later assigned him to the office of Calpulli President. He became widely considered Montezuma's second-in-command.

Shortly after his appearance, Montezuma befriended several important figures to strengthen his influence. He was notably approached by Safez of Roarborne and Haferys Ishtar, who sought to befriend him. Montezuma later publicly confirmed the three were friends, though the three disagreed ideologically. While Montezuma and Safez grew closer, their friendship with Haferys deteriorated quickly. Haferys began recovering Hueyyena and Sobek, the leaders of Hyenia and Crocodilia respectively. Montezuma and Safez voiced their dislike of hyenas and crocodilians and expressed that they felt insulted. The two cut ties with Haferys shortly after.

Montezuma also met with Junior Purr and sought to establish friendly ties with Juniorwood. He quickly became friends with Junior and his girlfriend, Juniorientje Purr. During this visit, he also met Zumi and developed a romantic interest in her. They were regularly seen together, which sparked speculation that the two were in a relationship. The rumours intensified when a note supposedly belonging to Montezuma was discovered, which read: "The Golden Prince - Tenoch" and "The Golden Princess - Leonor". Montezuma later publicly stated he didn't have any children and added that he had not entered a romantic relationship with anyone. On 24 June however, a small cheetah allegedly named Tenoch de Corona, was seen near Montezuma and Zumi and became suspected to be their child. On 29 June, another small cheetah allegedly named Leonor de Corona was seen near them as well.

On 20 June 2026, Montezuma and Zumi were seen together with Safez and his wife Regina Maluf. They were watching the FIFA world cup match between the Netherlands and Sweden. While Safez openly supported the Dutch team, Montezuma did not specify his preference, which led to speculation that he supported Sweden. However, he celebrated when the match ended with a 5-1 win for the Netherlands. Shortly after the match ended, Junior and his girlfriend Juniorientje, were targeted in an assassination attempt. While Junior was unharmed, Juniorientje was mildly injured and quickly transported to a local hospital. Duckie Quackers later released a statement confirming that Juniorientje was in a stable condition. Ducky added that the couple was deeply shocked by the incident and that no perpetrator was found. Juniorientje made a full recovery and was later released from the hospital. Montezuma and Safez were shocked by the incident and extended their best wishes to the couple. Throughout the following week, Montezuma and Zumi visited Junior and Juniorientje multiple times in Juniorwood to support them.

Montezuma is owned by p1gsel.
He was originally named simply "Montezuma", but this was changed between 14:30 to 14:45 on 6 June 2026 to "Montezuma of Corona". The name "Corona" was inspired by the section "Coronation campaigns" on the wikipedia page of Aztec warfare. At around 23:15 later that day, p1gsel proposed the idea of changing it to "Montezuma de Corona", and later confirmed it the next day at around 01:10.
