Political Ideologies

There are several ideologies, which also most often distinguishes parties from each other. Unlike the real world with a left to right political spectrum, the plushie political landscape only has ideologies.

Ideologies

Agrarianism

Agrarianism supports primarily farmers as well as supporting private ownership.

Anarchism

Anarchism is the ideology supporting the idea of a less-powerful government, with practically no influence from the government on the inhabitants of the country. The goal is that citizens will help each other, with minimal government involvement.

Authoritarianism

Authoritarianism is an ideology where political power is concentrated in the hands of one individual or group, with limited public participation.

Centrism

Centrism is a range of political ideologies mixed to avoid extremes.

Communism

Communism is a political and economical ideology which aims to create a society where everything is owned by the state, and each and every individual receives what they need to survive, with no ownership.

Conservatism

Conservatism strives to maintain the values currently in place in its respective country. This means change and progression often goes against conservatism, opposing progressivism.

Environmentalism

Environmentalism is an ideology that puts nature first, going against pollution. Environmentalists also put other animals at a higher position, refraining from mass-butchering other animals for food production.

Fascism

Fascism is an ultranationalist ideology putting the state and society first, often emphasizing some groups or identities within society over others.

Liberalism

Liberalism strives to give more freedom to the people, right to private property and equality. The government still has to have an active role in protecting these values and interests.

Libertarianism

Libertarianism, similarly to Liberalism, strives to give people freedom, but with the government having minimal influence, only protecting life, liberty and property.

Monarchism

Monarchism is the idea of a system where one family holds power, which can range from ceremonial to absolute authority.

Nationalism

Nationalism promotes the idea that one country, region or culture is better and stronger than others. Nationalism emphasizes the interests of the common people often contrasting them with elites.

Populism

Populism primarily emphasizes the idea of the common people in opposition to the "elite".

Progressivism

Progressivism is the idea of progressing as a whole, often accepting newer things, contrary to Conservatism.

Social Democracy

Social Democracy is market-based but with strong government intervention to provide social welfare.

Socialism

Socialism is the idea of collective ownership of key industries, with the goal of reducing inequality.
