Rayak or Rayaki Khanate, is a state in Sabana on the south of the continent. Rayak's government is led by a hereditary khan, currently Ratta. Rayak was established on 27 December 2025, when Ratta revolted against Tijgeron's Hordes. The capital is Rattoli. Rayak is inhabited by 3 distinct races and the national currency is the Rayaki Dinar.
Etymology
The name Rayak derives from the word rat, which is one of the two major races inhabiting Rayak, the other being mice. The y in Rayak derives from the y in libya. The ak derives from the Dutch version of Iraq, being Irak.
History

Pre-current age
Since Rayak is a recently established sovereign state, there are no formals records of the country predating the current age. However, several sources indicate a long-standing presence of rats and mice in the region, dating back to the ancient and panther ages. Several old documents do indicate these rats and mice were frequently enslaved by the Pantherian government. This era of enslavement ended following the collapse of Pantheria.
Current age
Independence
On 27 December 2025, Rayak was established as a sovereign state, formalizing its separation from the dominion of Tijgeron. Prior to the independence, the rats and mice functioned as a military force, forming one of the hordes headed by Tijgeron. The movement for sovereignty was led by Ratta, who assumed the title of khan. The newly established Rayaki government officially stated its desire to establish positive relations with the Tigerium and its allies.
Conflict for independence
Following the declaration of sovereignty, Tijgeron initiated several military operations to reintegrate the rats and mice into his hordes. The conflict was characterized by several armed engagements between the Rayaki Military Forces (RMF) and Tijgeron's hordes, including various armies.
During the conflict, the Gray Triumvirate, an internationally recognized criminal syndicate, allegedly supported Rayaki forces with weaponry and mercenaries. Rayaki officials stated the Triumvirate was not aligned with the Rayaki army. Some officials also declared the Rayaki government had no intentions of aligning with the organization.
These statements were refuted by several diplomats and officials of the Tigerium, who stated there is significant evidence which points towards cooperation between Rayak and the Gray Triumvirate. Tarosh, an ambassador for the Tigerium, requested the Rayaki government offer information on the Gray Triumvirate to maintain relations. Ratta denied all allegations regarding the Gray Triumvirate, arguing the reports were fabricated. The refusal to offer the alleged information prompted the Tigerium to implement a trade embargo.
