The Tigerium is the largest animal kingdom and functions as an absolute monarchy, with Tijgertje, head of the Royal Tiger Family, as its monarch. The exact date of the Tigerium's establishment is disputed, though it is commonly traced to 4 June 2007, the birth date of Tijgertje. The capital is Tigerdam. The Tigerium is inhabited by six distinct races and the national currency is the Tigerium Crown.

History

Panther War

The origins of the Tigerium date far back from before Tijgertje's birth. Her older brother, Tigrish, ruled as king at the time. He established Tigerdam, the capital. The Tigerium was already a large country, but got involved in a large war with Pantheron. The war cost the lives of nearly all tigers. Most species, including the Panthers, also were nearly or entirely eradicated. In a decision to end the war, Tigrish opened the Void, which absorbed nearly all animals, subsequently ending the war. Just before this catastrophic event, Tijgertje and her twin brother, Tiggy, were born. Tigrish and Tiggy were both absorbed into the void, leaving only Tijgertje and a few other tigers behind.

Build-up of the Tigerium

After the catastrophic void-event, Tijgertje proclaimed herself queen of the Tigerium. With only a few surviving tigers, she commenced a build-up of the Tigerium, signing alliances with several other species, primarily the Hoppers and Bears. Following talks, Bunny and Beertje Bacon integrated their species into the Tigerium, serving as puppet-states.

Tijgeron

At this time, Tijgeron, the last surviving panther, consolidated power as well, uniting the Rats, Mice, Monkeys, Crocodiles and Elephants under his rule. They formed a internationally recognized group known as Tijgeron's Hordes. They raided and invaded the Tigerium several times, but they were never successful in conquering the Tigerium.

With Tijgeron's constant invasions, eventually Beertje Bacon and his brother Crystal Master joined Tijgeron's Hordes. Tijgertje declared the brothers traitors until they eventually returned and profusely apologized, after which Tijgertje pardoned them and allowed them to rule the bears within the Tigerium again.

Void escapees

At some point during 2023, Tigrish and Tiggy escaped the void. This marked the beginning of a surge of animals escaping from the void. Tigrish nor Tiggy demanded the throne back, and allowed Tijgertje to continue ruling as queen of the Tigerium.

Vassals

The Tigerium had several vassals, including the bears, hoppers, giraffes, sheep, lions and grats. Around late 2025, the bears started demanding independence, which they received and soon after established the Beardom. Following the Beardom independence, the sheep of Velderen and hoppers of the Hopstate declared independence. The independence declaration of Velderen went smoothly, but the Tigerium did not release the Hopstate, consequently starting a independence war. The Beardom as well as the giraffes, still a puppet of the Tigerium, fought against the Tigerium army and eventually Tijgertje allowed the hoppers their independence.

The Tigerium still ruled over the giraffes, lions and grats. The giraffe-Longneck and grat-Feliciate were full-on puppet-states unlike the lion-Lionarchy. The Lionarchy was officially ruled by Leeuwtje, a subject of Tijgertje. However, during mid-2025 a revolution broke out in the Lionarchy, with four different factions. The ancient Lion-Emperor Leonidas, who fell into the void, escaped and returned to the Lionarchy. Following this, many lions took his side. Another faction was led by Scor. He, along with his two sons Scer and Scar, seized control of some territories. A third faction was led by Nemerak, a lion who is worshipped by many of his followers as a god. The fourth faction is led by Leeuwtje himself, who had a relatively small army but was strengthened with Tigerium support.

Inhabitants

There are several different types of inhabitants in the Tigerium. These types are divided into several groups. All groups are led by the Royal Tiger Family, but also have a separate leader leading the group.

Tigers

The largest and main group are the regular Tigers. They are led by Tijger.

Latigers

The second largest group are the Latigers, practically the same as the regular Tigers, but the Latigers come from a Roman area. The Latigers are led by Nero.

Cheetahs

The Cheetahs are a smaller group, most often serving as army commanders. They are led by Bolso Caesar.

Fangtooths

The Fangtooths are a specific type of tiger, with all Fangtooths serving as police officers or in some cases as soldiers. The Fangooths are led by Tiberius.

White Tigers

Commonly, White Tigers serve as bodyguards for high ranking officials. The most well known one is the Iron Tiger, serving the Royal Tiger Family. The White Tigers are led by Siberius.

Tigians

The Tigians are a group of wealthy Tigers named after drinks, often Tea, Coffee or Alcohol. Their leader is called Aspall.
