	Leader of Jerusalem, Baldwin IV, thought the Aztecs had an unstable empire, as the Aztecs withdrew. However, the Aztec reason to withdraw was to prevent high casualties. The Aztecs also trusted Persia to defeat Jerusalem single-handedly. However, Jerusalem took this Aztec withdraw as a sign of Aztec weakness. Baldwin IV's flagship got hit by a few cannon shots, however, he escaped the ships. Baldwin IV stated he nearly died during this bold attempt, and swore to not attempt such a bold attack again.
