			Heinz Hobar likely joined the [[Schutzstaffel]] when Casablanca was under [[Axis]] influence. He might also have joined the [[Afrika Korps]], under the leadership of [[Erwin Rommel]]. Heinz Hobar in both possibilities likely had great successes due to his relatively high rank as [[Brigadeführer]]. Eventually, Heinz Hobar has Lutz Werner and Aldo Schenk under his command, close associates who are located in Casablanca as well. These 3 officers wear white uniforms and are members of the Atlantropa project.

			Heinz Hobar would come into contact with [[Martin Heusmann]] through his participation in the Atlantropa project, which Heusmann devised. Hobar was responsible for a large amount of the plans of Heusmann’s conspiracy, though not receiving credit for this. Instead, Heusmann was acknowledged as ringleader of the conspiracy. Heinz Hobar's suspicious activity with Heusmann was brought into question when Heusmann was arrested. Heinz Hobar had to attend the [[Washington Trials]] together with Lutz Werner. However, due to Hobar's activity in arresting members of Heusmann’s conspiracy, he was declared innocent, similarly to [[Karl Müller]]. Lutz Werner was also declared innocent.

			The Atlantropa project was cancelled after Heusmann's arrest. Due to this, Heinz Hobar was no longer a member of this project either.
