Once Dexter and Brian reunited, Frank Price started killing people that same night again, showing Dexter and Brian he knows where they are and that he is in control.

One morning, Frank Price was suddenly attacked by Dexter Morgan, Frank however knocked Dexter out and brought him to one of his hidden graveyards. He wrote a note saying "Your brother Brian is still alive" and left the scene. Once Dexter woke up he saw the note and was horrified. The only person to outsmart Dexter was Frank Price. Frank Price started spying on Dexter Morgan and Brian Moser until they reunited after a few years. The tar pit killings had ceased for those few years. However, the day after Dexter and Brian reunited, Frank continued his killings on a large scale. Brian tried competing with him and Dexter tried finding him, but for both to no avail. Frank Price outcompeted Brian and started mocking him with his murders as well. Dexter was unable to find Frank anywhere as well. Eventually, Dexter gave up his search for Frank and Brian started toying around with Frank as well. For a short while, Brian started draining his victims of their blood and filled them up with boiling tar and then displayed them to the public.		Eventually, a vigilante serial killer, the Bay Harbour Butcher, known by his real name as Dexter Morgan, started targeting Frank Price. Dexter Morgan went after other killers or people who did bad things in his eyes.
