While it lost seats, the LRP formed a majority government with four other political parties. Following this, Safez's popularity increased again. With the increased popularity, Safez successfully appointed [[Scor of Roarborne\|Scor]] as the new chairman of the [[Central Command of the Lionarchic Roarist Party\|Central Command]]. He was then able to appoint other family members and close associates into the Central Command as well. While Scor was the chairman, Safez was still seen as the ''de facto'' leader of the party. This was generally considered the end of the power struggle between Salah and Safez and a victory for the latter.
